PillarWealth.io, operated by Atkins Media, LLC ("we", "us") at pillarwealth.io, helps you track your Thrift Savings Plan and IRA accounts. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account details: your name and email address, plus a securely hashed password if you sign up with email. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile picture from Google.
  • Financial information you enter: age, salary, pay frequency, contribution settings, goals, fund shares, IRA holdings, paycheck amounts and statement figures.
  • Statement imports: TSP PDF and CSV files are read in your browser. Only the extracted numbers (balances, shares, loan and match amounts) are sent to our servers. The file itself is not uploaded.
  • Linked accounts: if you connect an institution through Plaid, Plaid shares account, holdings and investment transaction data with us. We never see or store your bank login credentials. Plaid access tokens are encrypted at rest. See Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.
  • Usage and device data: basic technical information such as browser type, pages viewed and IP address, collected through our servers and advertising partners.

How we use information

  • To run the service: valuing your holdings, building projections, the paycheck ledger and goal tracking.
  • To keep your account secure, including sign-in sessions and protection against repeated failed logins.
  • To answer your support requests.
  • To show advertising on public pages, as described below.

We do not sell your personal or financial information.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the service: hosting and database infrastructure, Google (sign-in and advertising), Plaid (account linking) and market-data sources for public fund and ticker prices. Your holdings are never sent to market-data providers. Daily market recap posts are written from public price data only.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. To delete your account and associated data, email support@atkinsmedia.io. You can remove individual holdings, contributions and linked connections yourself at any time.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies, and aggregator tokens are encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information. Contact us to make a request.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
